The guide to emotions
The EMORI app helps you become aware of and understand your emotions. It was created thanks to the joint work of three Latvian higher education institutions - Riga Stradiņš University, the Art Academy of Latvia, and Ventspils University of Applied Sciences. The project team that created a prototype of the app included students in bachelor's, master's and doctoral study programs, and their teachers. The app is designed to improve psycho-emotional health, it helps develop emotion recognition and regulation skills. Performing interactive art-based and psychological tasks improves the ability to endure, accept, or control emotions.
The project team representatives explain,” Currently, the app can be partly used as a testable prototype. However, we are working on it to make it available to everyone. We plan to create a start-up and attract investments to validate EMORI and make it commercial.
The idea of EMORI as a trademark name came up spontaneously. Discussing emotion regulation tools at one of the first meetings of the working group, one of the colleagues started using the word EMORI. Later, we found out that this name is also associated with Ueki Emori, a Japanese revolutionary democrat, who was active in the Freedom and People's Rights Movement in Japan in the second half of the 19th century. This fact perfectly matches the purpose of the EMORI app - to allow its users to understand and make decisions about their emotions and the ways of regulating them.”

The unique jewellery for unforgettable moments
The GIVEN brand is a subsidiary of GRENARDI GROUP, and it was created in 2018. Its founders have more than 20 years of experience in the industry, which made it possible to create the largest jewellery retail network in the Baltics with 74 stores in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
The main values of the brand are joy, availability and hospitality, and GIVEN customers can buy jewelry at affordable prices, get excellent and friendly services and, of course, please themselves and their loved ones with beautiful jewellery.
Alīna Spriņģe, Chair of the Board at Grenardi Group and Creative Director, talks about the creation of the GIVEN brand:
“Initially, the range of jewellery offered by GRENARDI included a very wide assortment in different segments, namely both silver jewellery and premium brand products. We realized that there was a need to create and develop a story about the jewellery that would be available to everyone. That's how in the idea of a new store concept GIVEN, a word that is rich in associations, was born in 2017. Given means experience, taste, opportunity to get more, service culture that we provide to our customers. We cooperate with excellent partners, so we are able to offer the best from all over the world.
GIVEN also includes values that are important to us. Our jewellery is created by true masters of their craft, artists. Most often, people buy jewellery for important moments in life, celebrating an anniversary, starting a family, or having a baby. A piece of jewellery is a gift and at the same time a keeper of memories of beautiful emotions. We are happy that we can be present in happy moments of people’s life and help make them unforgettable.”
