“Nothing stands still in the field of industrial property - new and effective methods of protection appear, the requirements change, and our experiences also improve. The LPO’ task and strong desire is to provide this information in an easily perceptible manner. With this publication, we would like to show that it is possible to acquire knowledge about industrial property in an exciting and simple way, because the learning process must be interesting since it motivates to gain new knowledge. We hope that teachers throughout Latvia will use the updated material as actively as they did with the first edition,” comments Agris Batalauskis, Director of the Latvian Patent Office.
