On September 10, 2020, The Patent Office in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) for the fifth year is holding a seminar on intellectual property matters for the judicial staff and intellectual property professionals. For this year the annual semianar is transformed into online regional seminar, thus providing an opprotunity for wider audience to support the continuing education on intellectual property issues.

Distinguished speakers engaged in the domain of IPRs from WIPO, EUIPO, the German Federal Court of Justice, the Court of The Hague, the Supreme Court of Latvia, University of Warsaw and one of the largest IP law firms in Europe BARDEHLE PAGENBERG will share their knowledge and provide insights into such topics as: evidence in patent litigation, protection of unregistered distinctive signs, IP protection and enforcement in light of fundamental rights, IP adjudication, Nice Classification system, Protection of unregistered distinctive signs within competition law and others.

During the seminar, each of you will have the opportunity to connect to an interactive environment and ask questions to lecturers using the online question platform sli.do #ipforjudges2020.
