In preparation for the DesignEuropa Awards ceremony, organized by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), which will take place on September 25 in Riga, Latvia, the Patent Office of the Republic of Latvia is introducing the awards finalists. One finalist in the Industry award category is the Empyrean II headphones, created by the company Meze Audio, designed for comfort and high-quality music playback.
The Romanian company Meze Audio is a leader in headphone design and innovation. The products are known for exceptional audio quality, while ensuring comfort and high performance. The Empyrean II headphones represent the pinnacle of innovation in sound and comfort, designed to provide users with the highest quality sound while considering ergonomics. These headphones adapt to each user's head without compromising sound quality.
A team of experts contributed to the design to achieve the best possible external sound isolation, ensuring the material remains both lightweight (385 grams) and durability. Additionally, the headphones offer the option to switch between two ear pads (Duo and Angled), enhancing and diversifying the listening experience. The innovative Rinaro Isodynamic Hybrid Array technology ensures outstanding playback of low, mid, and high frequencies, delivering a wide and detailed sound.
These headphones will attract those who also value design – the Empyrean II is inspired by the Art Deco style.
Antonio Meze, the lead designer and founder of Meze Audio, is known for his focus on artistry and acoustic excellence. His designs merge technical prowess with user-centric considerations to create unparalleled listening experiences.
