The Cabinet of Ministers has approved changes to the price list for the paid services of the Industrial Property Board of Appeal supplementing it with new services and determining the payment for the services thereof, as well as updating the current fees in accordance with the increase in costs.
In accordance with the amendments to the Law on Industrial Property Institutions and Procedures adopted in February of this year, the Board of Appeal may also examine applications for a declaration of invalidity of a trade mark registration and for revocation of a trade mark registration. The amendments to the price list determine the fee for these services – EUR 214.90 for invalidation and EUR 179.90 for revocation. An additional payment also has been set for challenging unilaterally taken decision by which a dispute is not resolved on its merits.
At the same time, amendments to the price list update the fees for submission of an appeal and submission of an opposition according to the increase in costs. The fee for submission an appeal now is EUR 170.00 and EUR 200.00 for submission of an opposition.
